Scammy buffet with terrible service – avoid at all costs! Usually, I don’t leave reviews, but this experience was too ridiculous to stay silent. We were charged a wastage fee without even being given a chance to finish our food. The moment we stood up, staff immediately swooped in, cleared the table, and claimed we left “a lot” when it was leftover vegetables and some corn which really can’t finish as we don’t know they serve a full cob of corn as a portion. Clearly a scammy tactic to squeeze more money from customers.

The staff were rude and dismissive. The buffet is already overpriced, and we paid RM20+ extra for fish and prawns, the fish wasn’t even fresh and had a bad smell. The lotus root was sour too.

If you don’t want to ruin your day and waste your money, stay far away from this place. Not worth the price, the food, or...

Food taste was alright but priced way above it's worth. And we felt slightly cheated. We have asked before we ordered if their signature chicken & fish maw soup base (priced rm130+) are refillable, to which they say yes.

The soup was then served, which is not even equivalent to 4 full rice bowl. It was then refilled with their regular soup base.

Seating arrangements are uncomfortable. Hardly any leg space. Reminds you of seating on budget flight where your knees are always presses against the seat in front of you.

Staff is untrained. They took one of our cups to refill the tea, top up ice until it was too much, then decided to pour the content back into the ice bucket. (note: it's a used glass).

Highly recommended! Had a great dining experience at 鲜记香港火锅 in Ampang. For only RM78 per person, it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet that really delivers on quality and variety.

We ordered the signature twin pot with pork bone soup and Yunnan-style spicy sour broth — both were flavorful and satisfying. The pork bone broth even came with huge pork bones inside, which was a nice surprise!

All the meats were very fresh, and one of the highlights for me was the dumplings stuffed with a whole prawn inside – super juicy and delicious. The prawn paste was also bouncy and rich in flavor.

Best part? They also serve fresh fruit at the end, which is perfect after a hotpot feast.
