This is my 3rd time doing hiking + beach trip at Tanjung Tuan. This is my favourite spot for uphill and also playing by the beach all in one.

Designated car park at the entrance of Tanjung Tuan are limited. You can only lucky enough to secure a parking spot at the entrance of Tanjung Tuan if you arrive before 7am. Preferably around 6-6.30am. however, there's ample of illegal parking spot available along the roadside. Quite safe to park but at your own risk.

There's always rain for all three times I visited to Tanjung Tuan. This round (3rd round) I got the heaviest rain out of the 3 visits. Quite lucky to have the heavy rain pouring down just before we entered the trial head to Bukit Batu putih. Most of the hikers hide under a small hut located just below the lighthouse while it was raining heavily.

By 8am, the rain stopped. Initially decided to come again next round, but we finally decided to go uphill at last. The trailhead has recently renovated. Shortly after passing by the trailhead, we arrived to a newly built watch tower.

The route was very wet due to the heavy rain but it's still very easy because it's just wet but not too much of slippery spot. Not as tough as gunung nuang or gunung rajah after rainfalls.

By 8.30am, we have already arrived to the rock climbing zone. The peak is just on top of the rock climbing zone. Quite easy one but extra slippery due to wet surfaces after rain.

The peak does not have enough space to accommodate many people. We went down shortly after taking some scenic photos.

Right after descending from the peak, there's an entrance trail down to the beach just right beside the rock climbing zone.

200-300m of downhill from the rock climbing zone, then we arrived to the monkey bay. Prettiest ever seaside that I could find around Port Dickson.

If you do not wish to do hiking to the peak of Bukit Batu putih, you can also choose to go downhill straight from the tar road. The entrance to monkey bay with reference to a TNB electric column marked CPRD/C20.

I had wonderful time time at Tanjung Tuan. Would love to...

Tanjung Tuan @ Cape Rachado is a Peninsula that located on prominent cape about 20km South of Port Dickson. The Cape is an exclave of Malacca State as a whole rich with nature, history and culture, although it is surrounded by the State of Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus. It's suitable for recreational and leisure activities in the forest and at the beach, also popular as watching birds spot. Serene view at Cape Rachado surrounding The Strait of Malacca, the location for who likes the natural and forest. The hiking about 10-15mnt from the entrance/gate of Tanjung Tuan before arrived the lighthouse. When you climb up and walk behind it you can experience the beautiful which you never see. You can walk down, across the forest and reach the beautiful beach side, vanture into the forest for some strenuous walking, watch the monkeys and birds, flora and fauna overlooking the sea. Tanjung Tuan is oldest and still active lighthouse in Malaysia, built around 1880's and probably its most important. Its stand at the end of a prominent ridge jutted out into the strait at the Northern end of the narrow part of the Strait of Malacca waterway. The forest ridge has long been recognizing as on the country's most important forest and wildlife...

Melaka as a whole is rich in culture and history. Imagine finding out more on Admiral Zhang He and presumably that he is a muslim. Mindblown.

Great place to get chendol and don't forget the river cruise. There are also lotsa other things to do here in Melaka.. from visiting heritage areas, to shopping galore, check out the mural designs and also the food stalls.

Did i forget to mention that there is also a waterpark here in Melaka? Hehehe.. dun thank me for dis, jz have fun! :)

Back to the topic.. The view at the lighthouse is breath-taking.. best time to be here is just after a drizzle or sun rise/set.. the view is nice.. but to jz enjoy the view unobstructed, u can only gt it cleared at one specific point..

Its pretty nonetheless.. Jz to add.. the entrance to this place is a border between 2 states.. so dun be surprised if you suddenly feel that you crossed over.

Don't wait any...

Moderate difficulty since it's not a very long hike/descent to reach the pulau intan side of the beach. Going down from Cape Rachado light house will take you around 20mins and another 15 minutes walk along the rocky beach towards the right you will find the sea cave and it's only accessible during low tide. Do check the tide timetable online before your visit as there's not much reception here. For walk along the rocky side of the beach best to wear trail or hiking shoes as the rocks can be very slippery. If wearing normal running shoes will need to walk slower with extra cautious.
