Everytime I went to Kuantan almost everyone recommending me this cafe and here's my honest thoughts
Food (3/5): The mango cheesecake, which has been all the rage and went viral, didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. While it’s good, I personally found it just average. The mango flavor is there, but the cheesecake didn’t stand out as much as I was expecting, especially considering how much people rave about it. It’s still a decent dessert, but I don’t think it’s anything extraordinary. That said, there are other menu options that might be worth trying.
Service (4/5): The service is friendly, and the staff seems to handle the large crowd well, despite how busy the cafe gets. They’re quick and accommodating, though there might be slight delays due to the long lines during peak hours. Even with the high volume of customers, the staff maintains a pleasant attitude, which adds to the overall positive experience.
Atmosphere (5/5): The atmosphere is one of the best parts of this cafe! It feels like a mini park with beautiful, cooling trees, which gives it a relaxing vibe, perfect for enjoying your meal or drink in peace. It's a great spot for those who appreciate being surrounded by nature, and the outdoor seating area adds to the charm. The ambiance is definitely a strong selling point.
Price (3/5) : The prices are on a bit on the higher side, but given the location and the overall experience, it’s somewhat understandable. Still, I think the value could be better, especially when it comes to the viral dishes like the mango cheesecake. You're paying more for the experience and the atmosphere, which I would say justifies the cost to some extent.
Overall: I’d rate this place 3/5. The mango cheesecake didn’t quite live up to its viral reputation for me, but the relaxing and picturesque atmosphere definitely makes it a place worth visiting. The long lines and busy crowd are a bit much at times, but if you’re looking for a nice spot to relax and enjoy a café experience with some greenery, this place delivers. Would I recommend it? Yes, if you have the patience and a...

Read moreWe were just cruising along the Main Road after finishing our lunch, and my wife suddenly exclaimed, " I want Kula Cakes!!" That took me quite by surprise, but by the time I came to my senses, we had already passed by the shop..So, I had to make a huge U turn, to get back to the Main Road...
Luckily for us, there was a vacant parking spot right in front of the shop, and I guess we were just fated for a nice dessert! The queue was already long, and it was actually outside the shop. Only when your turn came would you be allowed to come inside the store to place your order. And only one by one at a time. By my wife perservered, as she really badly wanted to sample the Signature Mango Cheesecake! I managed to sneak in also while she was ordering, on the pretax on taking some photos and videos...
The dining or eating area is a spacious open area, which is actually a vacant lot next door. There were plenty of tables and chairs, with stand fans in place, and some customers were already sitting, waiting and enjoying their desserts.
We eventually received our orders, and my wife immediately poked her fork into the sinfully delicious looking Mango Cheesecake, only to find it quite hard, and still partially frozen. Not to be deterred, she turned her focus on the Carrot Cake, which is normally her favorite anyway...Being a "burnt cheesecake" kind of guy, I was very contented with just that. After all, we had just finished our lunch, and I hardly planned for any scrumptious cakes... Eventually, we ended up not finishing the Signature Mango Cheesecake, and didnt quite do enough justice to it..
Since we do have some business in Kuantan for the while, there might be a second visit next time. But I will make sure we plan the trip...
