Came a bit late for breakfast on a Friday around 10 something, so most items were already sold out. Managed to grab a nasi lemak bungkus + ayam, and it turned out quite good. I liked the sambal, it had that balance of pedas and manis. I usually prefer sambal with a hint of sweetness and this one had just enough without tasting overly manis. The ayam was quite big too, satisfying portion.
Also ordered roti bakar, which came with a slab of butter. Not really my preference, i like when the butter is spread more evenly so it doesn’t feel too much in one bite. Had the half-boiled eggs as well, they were fine.
Tried the garlic bread with mushroom soup (RM10) and that was comforting. Nothing fancy, but the soup was warm, creamy enough, and paired nicely with the bread. For drinks, i had kopi susu Vietnam. Good mix, smooth and easy to enjoy.
The place wasn’t too crowded when we came, which was nice. Overall, they serve good stuff here and i’d recommend it to friends or family visiting Kuantan. For myself though, i’d probably try other spots next...
Read moreWhat a Wonderful Surprise. We literally stumbled across this "Kopitiam" while enjoying a morning walk around Kuantan City. It was the Buskers who caught our attention and then it was the wonderful breakfast aromas and young, friendly staff that pulled us in. The space is a buzz with locals and tourists, relaxing and enjoying the "good vibes" of the space. We managed to stop by twice on this trip and each time we were made to feel like friends. We named the roti titab "wobbly eggs" and enjoyed every mouthful. The Vietnamese milk coffee was rich in taste and perfect for our breakfast feast which also included satay ayam and steamed buns with pandan kaya and milk dip (fragrant, rich and creamy). There is ample parking near the waterfront as street side parking is quite difficult. Thank you Pickers for being our favourite breakfast spot in Kuantan. Ps the 5 stars are awarded to Pickers for their exceptional service...

This is the place. It’s cosy and you get to have a roti bakar (toast) with kopi (coffee) vibes.
I came on a Saturday at 10am, and there was already a queue. May need to wait for awhile. I do recommend you to come earlier as the hot item food are usually finished by 10 am.
I had the usual roti bakar tebal, with kaya and butter with hard boiled egg. Husband took roti goyang + kaya with Nasi Ayam Madu (specialty for the day). Fulfilling breakfast, and a good kick to start the day.
The breakfast set was alright. It was the ambiance that bring the whole breakfast setting a bit more authentic. Service was fast. Staff were friendly, polite and attentive.
I was in love with the decorations, and how homely it felt like. Plus, they have live busking session in front of the shop!
Definitely a good spot to hit the homely...
