A must visit if you’re in Bintulu. One of the most famous market that most people visited. There’s a lot to find if you’re a tourist, the place to is the food court upstairs and fruits to purchase at fruit stalls next to the main entrance of the market. If you’re a local and living in Bintulu, they’re plenty of things to purchase like vegetables, eggs, fish and seasonings. If you’re a tourist and exploring around Bintulu, my recommendation is to come to this pasar Bintulu. Please come in the morning if you’re interested to come to this market.

A place that every tourist should make time to visit in order to know, taste and experience local fruits, food and delicacies. Don't be in a rush to buy the moment u step in...take time to detour and find the best prices they have to offer, often the best prices are the stalls that sell at the back/corners of this wet market. Prices are cheaper on the stalls that sell around the back and sides, and more expensive at or near the entrance.

It is centrally located in old Bintulu Town. Big range of dry food found inside. The place is dry and airy although the walk space between stalls is a wee bit small. Plenty of seasonal fruits and vegetables at low prices are available on the fringes. Prices do vary from stall to stall but the sellers are polite and do try to explain the difference. Parking can be a huge headache but the range and low cost more than compensate for this.

Been here once after lunch time. If i am not mistaken, this place is closed after 2 pm, according to google. However it is not. I was told by seller it closed around 5 pm.

This market located beside the bintulu main market. It can be recognizably by green roof, and an open air market. You could find local product around here like snacks, handicrafs, vegetables, dried seafood and few kind of fresh seafoods. Vegetables looks so fresh and i feel bad not buying it. We just bought some vege that could not be found in peninsular. Most of the seller here are ibans and malay and they are so friendly.

Overall, a nice place to look for local product and friendly people made it feel like home. It tickles my heart that if i live here i will definitely be able to enjoy fresh vegetables every day. Could come here again if i come...
