I went there once and I was immediately blown away by the deco from outside and it got better and better as I went inside. The place was new so it looks really clean and vibrant with this fascinating Japanese Garden theme. Even the toilet was amazing I tell you. There were 2 VIP rooms that are for personal dining and it's only valid when you spend a minimum of RM300 during one dine-in. The main attraction is definitely the interior deco and it really lifts your mood and the taste of the food when eating. You are definitely going to have your money's worth by eating here. The only thing I dislike about the place is their salmon skin tho. Too dry and seemingly refried so it loses its tenderness and sorry to say, the worst compared to other Japanese outlets serving salmon skin. Other than that, the menu was packed full of delightful choices with acceptable and affordable prices. Will definitely visit here again one day. Online payments are...

Interior at the brand new branch in Pier 99 is superb. However, splitting complete menu into two big menu booklet is confusing. Service is ok.

Food wise, nothing is worth mentioning, the best out of all is the sushi rice. Beef yakinuku is so tough. Fried chicken in the don are too heavily fried, very brown and somehow feel like overnight double fried. Salmon Age Gyoza filling is very mushy, not much taste, kinda unpleasant texture. Sashimi freshness is ok.

Ordered few special maki, feel like the combination can be execute better. Cheesy Chicken Roll has very sausy and flavourful exterior but inside is blant. Spicy Yakiniku, same has the tough beef. Salmon Oyako Spicy Roll can have more filling and more flavour.

With the price paid, some are still acceptable I guess.

Hot green tea is not hot, not even warm and...

I came here on a walk in basis with 2 friends on a last minute decision. Came from Kuching after a 600km motorbike ride. We were all hungry and this was the closest restaurant that looked decent near our hotel.

Ordered a variety of dishes. Some of the dishes were good while others were not. Enjoyed the seasonal chef’s special but felt it was overpriced. Sushis very a mixed bag. Got the makis right but felt it all lacked vinegar. Nigiris were disappointing, the rice portion was stingy. The grilled beef was good with generous amounts of garlic. Salmon head was terrible. It was a mixed bag overall for us.

Have had better Japanese before. This place is far from the best and not the worst as well. It wouldn’t be my first choice. Soru above is...

The food here was good! As someone who values aesthetic food, it's nicely presented, and everything tasted well-balanced. I especially enjoyed the salmon rolls and the cheesy rice bowl, which was super satisfying. The prawn sushi was crispy and had a nice texture too. Service was okay, but they got our orders right and served everything on time. My only real complaint is the music. It was kind of stressful, especially when you're just trying to enjoy your meal and chat. Might not be the best spot if you're looking for a relaxing dining experience. Spent around RM20 to RM40 per person, which is very decent for the quality of food. Worth a try if you’re in the area, just maybe bring earplugs.

I was sceptical of this sushi establishment in the first place. In fact, I hold myself from visiting for almost 2 years. When I stepped in last Sunday, and my first order came (which was lightly salted edamame beans), my perspective on life as whole, changed. And it’s good change. I ordered grilled salmon belly and was not disappointed. All the fatty meat melted in my mouth, complimented by healthy amount of salt and a dash of lime on top of it. The miso soup was extraordinary, as is their chuka idako (baby octopus). This is a revelation and I will not hesitate to come over and visit again, despite their exorbitantly high taxes to your bills (6% SST + 10% Service Charge).
