Seriously, the Simanggang Waterfront is already a winner.
Came at noon during public holiday. Waterfront was quiet. Only 2 stalls opened. Understand. Nothing much to do under a hot sun. But nice to see a group of teenager had a practice of dance at the community space at the Culture building.
Please incorporating more trees, ornamental plants and greenery that are easy to maintain like Kuching Waterfront. Can be planted bit further from waterfront as this place will be crowded during Benak festival. Identifying a specific local plant as a signature for Simanggang could also add a unique identity for the town as a whole.
Providing some simple recreational activities perhaps a small basketball hoop area or playground for kids would be great.
The fish replica is nice. But it is out of place.
