I visited for the 2nd time on a Saturday towards the end of the school holidays (a few days before the Ramadan month). I came quite early around 9.30 AM compared to last time (10.45 AM) so that I could park nearer and paid RM8 for parking. Parking bertingkat is finished but not yet open to the public. As I arrived early, I managed to enter early (15-20 mins queue) after the bag check. Even though there were 3 company events on that day, I barely noticed them on the rides I went on.
This time round, as I came exactly at opening time (10 AM), I got to go on many rides with less or no queue. Definitely encourage everyone to wear sunscreen beforehand, and go on rides before evening time as these days, the weather is scorching hot and the open space ride was hot when noon. I only paid to rent a small locker (RM15) and rented a single tube (RM15). Prices for locker and tube varied (from RM15-35). You can rent a cabana too but must book early. Furthermore, there was a cameraman that took our photos at the ombaking cove and we can obtained the free digital photos from gl app (gl clix) by face detection. Gift shop is also available.
There were many changes that Splashmania made per my last review of Splashmania that I was satisfied with:
Stating clearly the adult ticket price also applies to children height more than 120 cm (meaning children charged with adult ticket prices can go on all rides).
Before coming in, the staff do remind others and there is a signboard stating only 500ml mineral water allowed inside per person. No food is allowed inside. I highly recommend everyone to have a heavy breakfast , then when you go there...main puas² and makan di R&R Dengkil or anywhere else afterwards as inside food are quite pricey.
Now there are khemah on the maniac racer ride. This is important as last time I waited in the hot sun to go on this ride.
They have put a divider between the typhoon terror (green) and the twin turbo ride which is very much appreciated to prevent others from taking advantage of going on the typhoon terror ride from the twin turbo stairs.
They have divided the toilet and prayer room separately according to gender (not in the same area). I am much more comfortable with this setting. The toilet and shower were clean during my visit.
Few things that bothered me on this visit:
I paid and booked in advance (1 month before) the Splashmania tickets but on that day there was an issue to scan the QR on the gl app.
I feel like the placement of the shoe rack and the tubes are somewhat off. After going on the ride with the double tube, I wanted to go 2nd time, but I found myself walking barefoot towards the stairs as my shoes were placed in the shoe rack near the stairs. Even if I didn't want to ride 2nd time, I would still have to go barefoot towards the stairs to retrieve my shoes. Is it not odd? When the weather was very hot, walking barefoot felt like torture.
Disappointed with the Atlantis VR ride. Waited for like an hour. This was one of the rides where many people waited for so long only to end up not being able to see the VR when going down the ride. My VR was spoiled (I only saw magnified versions of my surroundings) but the staffs dont really check whether we can see the VR or not as there was long queue. Perhaps something needs to be done here as many people looked forward to going on the ride.
Overall, I definitely can see that Splashmania has improved a lot compared to my last visit. The potential is huge here, and I know it is still a work in progress. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to come visit here to experience the Splashmania rides. I look forward to coming the next time around! Thank you for reading my long...

Facilities & Services. The registration process was smooth. Eventho they're open at 10am, they allowed us to go as early as 9.15am so that we can properly arrange over 100 employees which could be time consuming. Upon distributing the wristband, they only need to scan before enter. There are locker available and you can pay it using debit card or e-wallet. It can be used multitimes which I personally likes it. There are toilets or changing room available everywhere. Its clean, really good smell and comfortable. Since we had our teambuilding on Friday, the Operations allowed our male Muslim employees to leave for Friday Prayer and return. Eventually you are not allowed to go in and out without proper reasons. The facilities at the waterpark were suitable for teambuilding, and our employees were able to utilize the whole area for their activities. There is a designated gathering place for our employees called OmbaKing Cove, which is located near the big pirate ship. The only downside is that the waterpark's music was too loud at times, making it difficult for the employees to hear the trainers. It is suggested that the operations team consider lowering the music volume, especially during teambuilding events, maybe? There are lots of slides available. Some is extreme and some is okay for those who are afraid. My personal favorite is the Monsta. 😍 Oh, please wear a proper swimming attire or else you will not be allowed to enter the water. There are photographers everywhere. You can just get them to take your photo, collect it at the photograph room (forgot the name) digitally for free. Safety wise, nothing much to share coz its tiptop 👍.
Food & Beverages. F&B is included in our teambuilding package. The food was good and it was served in a recyclable containers which is really favored by our company. However, you might want to inform them to be ready earlier coz sometimes, you never know if the activities before noon could end early. There is no water dispenser available at the waterpark. However, you can rent a water canister from the operations team. Also within the waterpark, there are a few cafes where you can buy food and drinks. My fav is the Coconut with Gula Melaka. There is also a Mamak outlet available inside the park, but I didnt get to try.
Weather. I'm so grateful that the sky is clear as day for both days of the teambuilding. However, the weather was quite hot at noon. It is advised to wear lots of sunscreen and a hat to protect yourself from the sun. The teambuilding ends at 4pm and we were able to enjoy all the slides after the teambuilding until 6 pm.
Whatelse? Try request for luckydraw gift from the Operations in advance. I was a little bit late to know it. You might get some free tix to be given out to your employees. If you got banner to hang, check their standard size so that it fits yours.
Overall, we're satisfied. Ofc there are some hiccups here and there, but it was manageable. Will add more details if I remember. Thanks SplashMania WaterPark for the enjoyable and fun...
Read moreThis was my second visit to SplashMania, and it will also be my last.
When I raised my concern, SplashMania asked me to email them. The response I got was mostly excuses rather than real solutions — basically telling me that this is “standard practice.”
Just a heads-up to future visitors: be aware of the actual operating hours of each attraction, because “opening at 10” doesn’t mean everything is ready at 10.
This is my second visit to Splash Mania. It was less crowded than before, which was nice — but a few things really let us down this time.
One major issue is the park’s operating hours. The park opens at 10am, but to our surprise, some of the main slides only start operating at 11am or even 12 noon. Seriously, what’s the point of opening the gates at 10 if key attractions aren’t ready? Not too sure how the park is run, but it seems like even the staff only start working at 10am and need time to “set up” the rides. That doesn’t make any sense for paying guests who enter expecting the park to be fully operational from the moment it opens. Instead, we walk in just to find out that several attractions won’t be ready for another 1–2 hours. It's frustrating and feels like a waste of time, especially if you came early to avoid the heat or crowds.
Another issue was the queue at one of the slides. The waiting time was ridiculously long — nearly an hour — all because there were only 5 tubes being shared between two slides. It’s the weekend, the crowd is expected, so why wasn’t the park better prepared? We were literally wet when we joined the line and almost dry by the time we got our turn. That’s how slow it moved.
One thing I did notice was an improvement at the food stations — the queueing system has improved since my last visit, but the food itself still isn’t great. It could definitely be better for the price.
Overall, this visit was disappointing. The park needs to manage its operations and capacity planning much better, especially on weekends. It’s not cheap to visit, and guests deserve a smoother, more efficient experience.
Overall is just okay. Smaller than expected. The one with VR was not open due to some technical issue which is disappointing. F&B is terrible and don't even bother to use the QR Que to buy food while the restaurant is not even using it. Order been place for close to 1 hour 30min and still under order received. End up go to pick up area and ask the staff say " you takda datang sini tanya mana boleh dapat" while the app clearly having the status of " Order Place Order Received Preparing Order Order Ready to Pick up" but is not a common practice for them to use it?? If that's the case why even bother to ask your customer to order online and advertising of " WHY QUE" while you still require people to Que after using...
