Swam with sea turtles & felt like a mermaid with turtle friends!
Turtle Bay was the highlight of our Redang trip, a magical place where gentle sea turtles glide through crystal-clear waters like old friends. One special turtle (we named Jaja!) followed me the moment I dipped into the water – it felt straight out of a fairytale!
Our Unforgettable Experience: • Up-Close Turtle Encounters – Swam alongside them, touched their shells gently, and even fed them squid (watch those sharp beaks!). • Surprise Marine Friends – Spotting baby sharks and playful pufferfish made it even more special. • Vibrant Coral & Clear Water – Perfect visibility for underwater magic.
Tips for Future Visitors: • Respect the turtles – No chasing; let them come to you! • Wear reef-safe sunscreen – Protect their home. • Bring your underwater camera / 360 / hero / etc. – You’ll want to remember this forever!
Thank you Turtle Bay, for making me feel...
Read moreThis is a great place to see turtles with many turtles swimming in the area. I would give this place 5 stars for the turquoise water and chance to see multiple turtles but the overcrowding ruins it. There were many boatloads of tourists who could not swim floating around with fins splashing close to the turtles. In many cases I saw tourists kick the turtles with fins and have no spatial awareness often swimming above the turtles. Also there were a few idiots that touched the turtles despite this being terrible for the wildlife. What I witnessed was a complete lack of care and attention. It is great to see turtles but not nice to see some tourists show total disregard for any rules. As harsh as it sounds you should not go here if you cannot swim and do not have the decency to keep your distance from...
Read moreThe beach and water it self would get five 🌟 but unfortunately it is so crowded around the turtles i just felt sorry for them.
To many tourists not having control in the water, accedently kicking the turtles in the head. I even saw some tutles beeing pet like they were dogs, it made me really upset to see. And also, many of the turtles shell were damaged by all the loads of dayli tourist boats that drives over them.
This experience was part of a trip and I really regret supporting it, if i would have known it was like this.... I would have canceled it...
Please, think twice before you go here and be careful of the...
