The only thing which tasted alright was the white rice. Ordered the following
Grilled fish sambal style - the bottom was terribly burn and the gravy tasted really bad Fried squid - salty, overcooked rubbery and oily Kangkung Sambal Belacan - watery sambal with almost rotten vegetables. Omelette - oily and tasteless Fish and chips - really really bad and tasteless, so oily that you cannot feed your child.
Service : Quite slow but can't blame them as there was a huge crowd. Staffs were not friendly..
Read many bad reviews and I should have listened to those whom rated 1 star instead of the 4 stars. Only reason we came here was to for a cheaper option to dine compared to ridiculously priced The Taaras food.
A note in the event if you are planning to dine in here : there's a better option to call Asmadi Restaurant (Google it) they also provide as pick up and drop off service from the The Taaras and its free. You can also see my review in their...
Read moreFood taste are superb. However the waiting time during peak hour can go up to 2 hours just to wait for fried rice. Price is a bit expensive for the long waiting time and environment. Drinks are as expensive as Taraas.
Staff are not friendly at all. First time went there waited like 2 hours and the owner some sort of blaming us for coming at peak time. No sorry at all. A bit rude in my opinion. Not only that, we take away the food, order were not complete as one of the rice was missing.
Went again the next day to get a refund (which we did get) and want to have dinner, we were told to go back to hotel as they said kitchen already closed when we arrived during peak hour, but the next two couple came after us were being entertained with menu.
Good luck to those who come to wait/eat. Food is great but customer service...
Read moreI had the worst experience here. I ordered fried noodles with seafood but was first served a chicken noodle soup. I sent it back and was given another soup, this time with seafood noodles, but still nothing like what I ordered. I returned it again respectfully since it wasn’t the dish I asked for.
The "waiter" didn’t offer napkins or a spare plate, even though we were sharing a dish. When it came time to pay for our drinks and some roti, the woman who claimed to be both the cook and the boss tried to charge us for the noodles, despite them being completely wrong.
We were told in advance that we could pay by card, but when we tried to do so, she flatly refused and became argumentative. She then yelled at us to leave and was extremely rude. I strongly advise against eating in this place at all.
I will not...
