I’ve been on this tour two years in a row and can’t recommend it enough! Paul and Stella are phenomenal hosts as well as their crew, the scenery is breathtaking, and everything is well worth the price. The tour includes multiple locations around Comino including, Crystal Lagoon, Blue Lagoon, a clay mask “spa” beach, caves, and another lagoon I can’t recall the name of (Santa Maria? Could be wrong about this). With plenty of space onboard, crystal clear waters, and snorkeling equipment included there is something for everyone. From relaxing back and sunbathing, to cliff jumping, to snorkeling they have it all. The food provided is fresh charcuterie and they really take pride in the presentation and everyone enjoying it. Water is flowing and the sparkling wine is a perfect addition after eating. The crew is friendly, inviting, welcoming, and they take genuine interest in their guests. The environment is family-like with it being a smaller guest size compared to other tours, and this shows in the way the crew takes care of their guests. Paul and Stella went the extra mile for us on my second year doing this tour by accommodating us when we were unprepared in some areas(forgetting to bring certain things with us). I forgot to take a seasickness pill and luckily they had some on board. Make sure to bring your own towels, but this is mentioned when booking. This tour is one I would absolutely do every time I come to Malta, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a day to spend around Comino!

It's very very very busy especially in the summer, the best way to see the Blue Lagoon is to get a boat that stays in the lagoon and you can jump off & on the boat to swim and have lunch onboard, some boats drop you off at Camino for a few hours then come back to collect you, but accessing the lagoon from Camino can be difficult because of sharp rocks and the only tiny beach area is so busy there is hardly room to stand because of the crowds and unless your buying lots of cocktails served in pineapples for €8 then €5 for refills (Aug2022) there is not much else to do there, but you will see straight away why it's called the blue lagoon and its fantastic for swimming or snorkeling (but so is most of Malta) I Write this review as a fit healthy 64 year old who was dropped off with my young adult daughters who loved the pineapple cocktails while standing in the shallows off the Lagoon with hundreds of other like minded people with the smell of rotten pineapples in the sweltering air, while I tried to escape the madden crowd in the blistering 38° sun and found it almost impossible to get into the sea away from the busy area as there appeared to be no way of getting back out because of the drop and was really happy to leave the place. I did however return another day with my wife on a lovely Gulet from Valletta that took off at 9:30am and returned for 5:39pm we had breakfast lunch with wine and nibbles and the gulet stayed in the Lagoon for a couple of hours and we had a fantastic time.

DISASTER I cannot stress enough how much I advise against visiting Blue Lagoon on Comino Island. This place is an absolute disappointment and a prime example of shameless tourist exploitation. Our family decided to start the day early, at 8:00 AM, hoping for some peace. Initially, it was relatively quiet; the food stalls were just opening, and you could count the motorboats in the bay on one hand. However, after 10 AM, it all began: the stench of gasoline, countless boats with more tourists arriving, and the crowd growing by the minute. The boat dropped us off at the shore, where you used to find sunbeds on the beach. Now, the sunbeds are scattered on the rocks—deliberately, to extract as much money as possible from naive tourists. We were with two children, so we wanted to rent sunbeds with umbrellas. As one of the first customers, we received a "special price"—40 euros for four sunbeds and two umbrellas. But that was just the beginning of the nightmare. Later, they charged people 25 euros for a single sunbed! They were scamming people at every turn. Even those who had already paid were harassed by staff repeatedly asking, "Who did you pay for this spot?" It was like harassment. And as for the sunbeds, some of them were set up in practically inaccessible places. To sit down, you had to climb over rocks, which was not only inconvenient but also dangerous. This was all done to prevent anyone from spreading out a blanket or setting up their own umbrella. It shows a complete lack of respect for tourists, whose only "mistake" was coming for a holiday. A place? What place? It was an exploitation camp, not a place for relaxation. All that mattered was the money. No space, no comfort—everything was subordinated to the greed of the owners. Yes, the water is beautiful, but equally beautiful waters can be found in Cyprus, where in addition to crystal-clear water, you also have beautiful beaches, not rocks and constant money-grabbing. In one word—an absolute disaster. A waste of nerves, money, and time. I feel cheated and furious at myself for falling for this place. If you want to avoid frustration, stay far away from Blue Lagoon!

Hmm. This place looks incredible and could be incredible were it not so ridiculously crowded. It is a victim of its own success. The actual 'beach's is tiny and filled with sunbeds that are so closely packed in their canopies touch. There were even people sunbathing at the end of the landing stage in the hunt for space! There were thousands there when we visited, and I would recommend moving farther along the rocky shore to find space (see photos). If you go a couple of hundred metres you will find lovely spots where the water is crystal clear. Just be prepared for large noisy groups of teenagers with portable speakers. As for the Blue Lagoon itself, it was packed with people and the lifeguards were constantly tooting their whistles, calling swimmers back to within 30 metres due to strong currents that day. The steps down to the water were also packed, and people trying to get back up were becoming angry as they could not push against the downward mass of people seeking the water. And then, finally, when you have had enough, there is the near free-for-all on the small landing stage as you try to leave. There is a system of colour coded tickets (colour per company) but you will need to be quite forceful to get on your boat as people with different companies seem to struggle with knowing who they travelled with. "Blue tickets only...", the operator will shout and hands shoot up waiving red and green tickets as people press forward. That sort of thing. Stand your ground, be confident and go for it! This was not the most relaxing day to be honest, and I would not recommend going during peak season unless you love crowds, are 16 to 30 years old, or you can arrange to get there after 6pm when it starts to calm down.

The Blue Lagoon in Malta is definitely worth a visit. There are quite a lot of people visiting the place, but The Blue Lagoon is also nice, nice water, lots of fish to look at. There are places where you can buy food and drink at reasonable prices. I would recommend bringing diving goggles and swimming shoes. There are lifeguards on site, but keep a close eye on your children yourself, as there may be some undercurrents on site. It costs around 25-30 euros to sail here from Sliema where you can be at The Blue Lagoon 2.5 to 5 hours depending on which excursion you choose. We can recommend the Coastal Route “ Gozo and Comino Blu Lagoon. You sail from Sliema at 10.00. When you get to Gozo it costs 5 Euros per person by bus to Victoria city where you are in about 3 hours and drive back to the port, after which you sail to The Blue Lagoon where you are in about 2.5 hours. Then make your way back home to Sliema, where you will be back home at 6.30pm. I will give The Blue Lagoon 4 good stars ☀️☀️☀️☀️

Beautiful clear waters ,and this is where it ends for me. Unless you come here first, there will be no room for you to sample the waters. Climbing on slippy surfaces, I felt like a mountain goat having to avoid trampling on people haphazardly moving from one place to another. The little Bay is extremely small and heavily overcrowded. Food trucks are lined up along the only path to catch your attention with food and drink. Bins are lined up for your rubbish , although some people don't think it is for them, you can't miss them just follow your nose. I feel that this little gem is severely oversold and the bigger boats ruining it for everybody. As one spills the anticipating bodies out of the Hull, another one comes along and does the same. It takes the joy away from such a small beautiful place. When I looked at the small little bits where so many people flocked, it was not unlike Comorans on a rock. We walked a little up the island and found some breathtaking views.
