Hicimos la excursión en catamarán a la Isla de los Ciervos con Catamaran Cruises y, aunque no nos tocó un día muy soleado, la experiencia fue excelente. La atención del equipo fue destacable, siempre serviciales y atentos. La comida estuvo muy bien, pasaron buena música y el ambiente en general fue muy relajado y divertido.
Tuvimos la suerte de compartir el paseo con un grupo de locales que sumaron mucha buena onda. Ya habíamos hecho otros tours en barco, pero este realmente se destacó por sobre los demás.
En cuanto a la isla en sí, no nos pareció lo más atractivo del paseo, quizás también por el clima del día. No hay demasiado para hacer, aunque ofrecen actividades opcionales como parasailing. Personalmente, la playa que más nos gustó fue Le Morne.
Más allá de eso, lo mejor fue la atención del equipo, el catamarán (fuimos en el rápido )estaba muy limpio y bien mantenido, y un plus para destacar: la barra libre de bebidas alcohólicas durante todo el día, no solo en el almuerzo como en otros tours. En resumen, una experiencia muy recomendable.

We did the Île aux Cerfs catamaran tour with Catamaran Cruises, and even though the day wasn’t super sunny, the overall experience was excellent. The crew was very attentive and friendly, the food was good, the music set a great vibe, and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun.
We were lucky to share the cruise with some locals, which made the day even more enjoyable — the group was really fun. We had done other boat tours before, but this one truly stood out from the rest.
As for the island itself, we didn’t find it especially exciting, maybe partly because of the weather. There aren’t many things to do, although they offer optional activities like parasailing. Personally, our favorite beach in Mauritius was Le Morne.
