Eric, our incredibly knowledgeable and passionate guide, is the embodiment of everything that is great about Mauritius. With his 30 years of experience in the lagoon, he knows the secrets of the sea like the back of his hand. His dedication to preserving and respecting nature left me speechless and in awe of his love for the ocean and its creatures.

Our journey through the pristine islands was nothing short of magical. We were lucky enough to witness magnificent turtles, playful dolphins, and the oh-so-rare blue emperor fish - a sight that I will treasure forever! And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, we were treated to the most delectable lunch one could ever imagine, with the freshest lobster I have ever tasted. It was a true culinary masterpiece!

Eric's friendly and warm demeanor made every moment of our adventure an absolute delight. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves, even if we weren't in peak physical shape. His respect for the sea and the life within it resonated deeply with me, and I am forever grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

This was the highlight of our trip to Mauritius. Jean-Eric has grown up in these waters and has an immense knowledge of the local snorkelling spots, fish and animal life, and nearby islands we visited.

The service was amazing! Jean-Eric organised provided us an all inclusive package. He also organised our taxi trip from Mont-Choisy to Mahebourg and back. Our trip included two amazing snorkelling locations, a visit to local coral islands where the wild Indian Ocean meets the calm Mauritian lagoon, a visit up river to a waterfall, and the most amazing lunch at the waters edge on the island of Ile a Cerf where we had a four course meal and were serenaded by our waiter Dominic.

The snorkelling was amazing and Jean-Eric pointed out numerous interesting fish and sea-creatures including: Parrot fish, Mantis Shrimp, Sting ray, Puffer fish, Angel fish, Butterfly Fish, Electric Ray, Giant Moray Eel and so so much more. My wife is not a strong swimmer and is quite new to the sea. Jean-Eric led her by the hand and was a major help in making her feel comfortable and allowed her to enjoy herself.

Will definitely be using Speedboat Seaduction again when we return...

We had an amazing day onboard the seaduction speedboat with Eric. It was a well organised and eventful day, with Eric sharing his great and interesting historical knowledge of Mauritius and the areas visited, as well as superb sightseeing stops. We were lucky to see many sea turtles and swim with a few, as well as enjoy the wonderful underwater views during our snorkelling (once Eric lent me one of his snorkels as mine from home was faulty, thanks again!). It was then followed by a delicious lunch at a table on the beach with great food and fantastic service, all with the amazing views of the surrounding Il Cerf island and ocean views.
