Visited from Texas and it was magnificent. The hike was a little tiring but nothing more then a good work out. My 10 year who hates walking even had fun hiking with his cousin who was a few years younger. In all it was about a mile hike with the hight reaching about 800 feet. This was about the mid way point and the rest of the way would have to be climbed using a guide for unexperiance people like ourselves using gear. It has a lot of different routes with all levels. It's an amazing life adventure and experience, but you have to go prepared for the climb. Peña de Bernal es una impresionante formación rocosa natural que yo desconocía totalmente. Como maravilla natural vale la pena conocerlo, sin embargo falta mucha infraestructura turística para los visitantes al pie de la peña. No hay un restaurante o alguna terraza cómoda con mesas o sillas para poder disfrutar del espectáculo natural y del ambiente que generan los visitantes. La peña puede escalarse por caminos hasta un poco más de la mitad de su altura y de ahí en adelante solo puede hacerse con equipo de alpinismo. Por las condiciones de altura y dificultad de la escalada, es una aventura reservada para turistas con una condición física mas allá de aceptable, por eso, creo que desperdician la oportunidad de hacer un mayor negocio y de dar un mejor servicio al no haber restaurantes o bares que den servicio a quien decide no tomar la escalada.
