Great place to go visit. The pueblo is very chill and has a lot of shops and they sell a lot of stones. The food was not the best but better than some other pueblos magicos I have been to. They charge now to go up the hill/meteor which is 30 pesos for non senior citizens. It used to be free and totally not worth it if you are not in shape. The way up is quite difficult and if you go up you will find yourself thinking I shouldn't have done this unless your intent was to go up from the start. I had fun here and I highly recommend it. It's not 5 stars because the pull you in is the mountain/meteor and getting up you will see most people not dressed for it or not expecting to go up it and decided to try. I only saw one person dressed for the climb and prepared. Took her an hour to get to the top and she was in...

Absolutely amazing hike and totally worth the effort! I would recommend going on a week day as early as you can to beat the heat/traffic. We had the whole mountain to ourselves. Be prepared for some a decent climb to the top (as far as you can go without a guide and climbing equipment etc.) Most guides online budget around 45 minutes but we were able to complete it in 25 minutes or less. Bring shoes with good grip/ankle support as there are quite a few sections with no traction at super steep inclines. Make sure to bring plenty of water to keep hydrated as well. Once you catch you breath you will love the views and the trip down was much more enjoyable haha. Make sure to stop in the town of Bernal for some amazing gorditas and pan de queso. Easy drive...

Peña de Bernal is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. Climbing the Peña is an enjoyable experience offering stunning views from the top. The town is small but charming, with a church and many shops selling souvenirs made of quartz and minerals. Its specialty is the gorditas with a variety of stews, which are the most popular dish and taste delicious. There isn’t much to do besides climbing the rock, walking around, enjoying a meal, having some ice cream, and exploring the town, but it’s perfect for a relaxed day surrounded by nature...
