Centro Comercial Plaza Independencia — Attraction in Jalisco

I would say this is a very low quality shopping center. The security guards are beyond annoying, follow you everywhere, like bro i make more money than you in 1 day than you do all year, GO KICK ROCKS !! NO HIGH END STORES HERE, VERY LITTLE OPTIONS TO CHOSE FROM IF YOU LOOK FOR QUALITY GOODS...THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. BODEGA AURERA IS ALWAYA JAM PACKED WITH PEOPLE AND THEY HAVE THE WORST ORGANIZATION EVER IMAGINED. I AVOID ENTERING THIS PLACE BY ALL MEANS. THEY HAVE A BBVa Bancomer, santander and idk if there are others as well. You can find some good New Era hats, original, decent clothes in a shop or two. Surtidora departamental has good options and okay prices on some items. Coppel is also here, make sure your credit is good, and find cool stuff here, year round, quality... this plaza has basic needs but no...

A very large plaza. It has a lot of variety. A good choice of items to shop from. And, a few different entertainment venues (Movie theater for adults and children, and Land4fun for the younger children). There is also a grocery store in there. If you are just running in and don't end up buying anything you'll spend at least 10 pesos as they don't have a free 15 minute parking window (paid parking). The overall look of the plaza is ugly. Its not nearly as nice as some of the equivalent plazas The traffic in that area can be very congested during the day and on weekends. A face-lift to the plaza and maybe some live events would definitely liven it up for the amount of people that use that shopping center. A one-stop shop for almost everything. I was on vacations 2 weeks ago in Guadalajara. I stopped with my family at this plaza to eat at the McDonald's place and have my kids play at the play ground. While I was in McDonald's my car was broken into and I was robbed all the luggage and every single thing inside my car. We called 911 to file a report. 2 police officers showed up probably 20 seconds after the call on bicycles. The plaza does not have any cameras anywhere in the plaza so I was told by the officers.
