I was very disappointed with the tour. It was sold to me on the street and I specifically asked if we would visit a big agave farm because that's what I wanted to see and where I wanted to take photos. They told me yes and that we would get free time there for photos and lots of opportunities. I also asked if they had an English tour they told me yes but very much later but that I would be fine with my level of Spanish to understand the guy speaking slowly spanish.
It ended up being the opposite. The guy spoke so fast I didn't understand anything. I asked him to slow down telling him I am not a native Spanish but he never did, and usually I get along fine with Spanish tours / understanding people in general. Also the factory tour was quite rush. We only got one Tequila shot to sample and then later after in the town we went to a shop to taste liquors. The agave fields is a set up garden with a few rows of agave in a fenced areas with lots of props and man made photo frames which does not look natural at all. In the background are signs and car wreks. They give you only 10mins there and its more to get you to buy drinks and food. It felt so not natural and definitely not the fields I was expecting. For 360 pesos definitely would...
