Playa La Manzanilla — Attraction in Jalisco

Great beach for people that are not so great swimmers. A big waveless ocean stands there in front of you, ready to bathe you in what appears to be an infinite blanket that covers you but doesn't drown you. Great place to go with kids that are learning how to swim. One side note: the beach could be cleaner, but given that's our fault as a race I'm not giving this magical place any less than the 5 stars...

Nice enough but water quality is not great. I suspect the restaurants may pump their waste into the bay and the current and wind just pushes it back to the beach. Lots of vendors trying to sell their wears but everyone is trying to make a living. They aren’t pushy and I found them very polite and respectful. Lovely galleries and tiendas. Restaurants are over priced and food...

The beach is quiet and pleasant except for this time when there were too many stones in the sand, one person commented that it was because the storm/hurricane removed all those stones a previous season. For the most part it is very good.
