Just stayed in the kids area. Needs maintenance, most toys are incomplete. A deeper cleaning would be fine. Visited it on Sunday afternoon, so it was not crowded, however toys are limited and you and your kid will have to take turns and wait in order to play. My kids loved it, they're 2 and 4 years old. It's a nice place to bring your little children to try something different, however, they may be a little young for most activities, so don't get disappointed if they get bored in an hour and they want to leave despite the entrance fee. I'm pretty sure is good for older children, but I had not the chance to visit the rest of the museum. There's is a skeleton of a whale hanging on the main room. Restaurant available inside,...

This museum is for all ages and for the while family. It is worth to spend half day visiting it. It is located within Ciudad Universitaria (CU - UNAM). Very close to "Centro Cultural" that has the fantastic concerts hall ("Sala Nezahualcòyotl)
The area has relatively easy access by public transportation or by driving there. By the way it has plenty parking space (distributed in several parking lots around Universum and "Centro Cultural"

Read moreI was a little skeptical of it, I went years ago and it was good but it has missing certain quality. Now when I returned, I realized that the prices had been rising. But after experiencing it I can say that the Universum is one of the funniest and interactive museums in CDMX, it had a great improvement in a bunch of expositions. It was great and the staff was really helpful I will definitely return to it. A minor detail, the store is very small and it is more focused on stones than in science, I would love to see ADN related things, spaceships or evolution related things. The digital immersion room was spectacular. Do yourself a favor and visit the Universum you...
