I was there on a Monday, which is usually busy, as all cultural attractions like museums, Tepoztlán, etc. are closed on Mondays, and a lot of the activity takes place here. I was lucky; there were hardly any people here.
There are two trails: the blue one to the waterfall and a green one to the caves.
The blue trail Was simply beautiful. It was very quiet and pleasantly relaxing. On the trail itself, I saw horses and cows living in the wild. The day before, it had rained heavily in Tepoztlán, so I was expecting huge waterfalls. Unfortunately, it was very small. Nevertheless, I used this energetic and peaceful place for meditation. It was fantastic. This spot is definitely the prettier one.
The green trail offers opportunities and viewpoints for far-reaching views. Also a very beautiful trail; personally, I liked the blue trail better.

Nice to see the town from up high, but beyond the cave looked more rugged then the pyramid trail, so we skipped out. We checked out the deer sanctuary. 100 pesos. Kids fed 2 deer. Fairly small. You'll need to call a taxi or walk...
