I visited on a Sunday afternoon, and I have to say that IT'S NOT a spot for tourists. The place was crowded, noisy and not visually attractive, we were looking for souvenirs and there were none to be found. There were plenty of street sellers but mainly offering products for locals, balloons, popsicles, chips and the like. Granted, there are some giant letters that spell CUERNAVACA that could be a good place for a picture, but, there was so many people and the front of these was closed with a white fence... So, no...

Great place for shopping, if you end up in an alley full of small shops that seems to end in stairs leading up to a colonial church dont be afraid to go into the shops inside the building to your left it will lead to other buildings underneath and shop filled tunnnels that lead to miles of shopping, anything from handcrafted to authentic Mexican made in china, from the begging to who knows because i couldn't find the end. it's a mind...
