This hidden little beach is a little bit of trek from Sayulita. Walk past the edge of town and follow the road around the corner of the bay. Stay to the left. Walk past the cemetery and then take a left when the path meets the beach. Walk up the road take your second right. Stay to the right and when you get to the top of the hill take a left. Go down the hill and around a corner and you will see the concrete entrance on the right hand side that says this way to the beach. Follow that down the sketchy and fairly steep pathway to the one of the best private beaches in Sayulita.
Watch out for that rip current. My girlfriend and I saw a girl get carried away and had to help her off the rocks.
This trek is definitely worth the time and effort to make the 20 to 30 minute walk from the end of the beach. I do not recommend walking...

The beach is about a 30 minute walk from Sayulita down narrow dirt roads through the jungle. You go through a marked door to access the beach and then down a steep hill.
Carricitos has soft sand and huge waves and is backed by the jungle. There are large rocks to climb around on which is fun. Beware of the crabs!
This beach is peaceful and you will likely have the place to yourself if you go in the morning. Make sure to come back around 6:30 to 7 to watch the amazing sunset here! It gets more busy in the evening but nothing like the main beach in town.

Bring your own food and drink: there are no stores here so you need to bring EVERYTHING. On the way to Carricitos Beach Sayulita, stop by Camacho’s, a small supermarket with the cheapest beers and snacks!
Minimal to no shade on this beach: if you want to hang out here all afternoon without burning from the sun, bring an umbrella or a tent.
