This is a very nice beach. It is clean and safe, and there is a public bathroom (which you need to pay for) that is reasonably clean. There are lifeguards. You can pay for a table and umbrella or bring your own. Surfing is best on low tide. There are crocodiles, here so ask the lifeguard when is the last time the crocodiles were there. The sand is nice, and there is no coral, so it is safe to bogey board and for kids. There are manta rays, so drag your feet when you go in the water, so you don't step on them and get stung. Read moreNot as pretty as Cancun, but much more useable. You can walk along this beach because you don't sink into the sand. It is also less windy so the waves are smaller and it is less dangerous. The beach is also wider than Cancun and there is no seaweed.
