This tour of 3 cenotes by bicycle was the height of our trip. My daughter booked this based on the excellent reviews and our guides Sany and Fernando did not disappoint. We recommend traveling to the beautiful town of Chemuyil by Collectivo (fast and cost efficient from Playa del Carmen or Tulum). After arriving in Chemuyil we purchased fresh juice and then accidentally met up with someone who works at Belij-Ha who walked us over to our starting point. Sany and Fernando were our main guides who provided some history, some laughs and safety instructions throughout the tour. Once outfitted with our bikes, goggles and drinking water we rode to the first cenote where bats live. The first 2 cenotes are protected areas and only for the use by those who live in Chemuyil and who book with Bejil-Ha. Our small group got to enjoy delicious fruit snacks along the way. We finished off the tour at the largest public cenote where you can jump into the water. The bike tour ended with an optional lunch order made by local folks. I would suggest you don’t miss out on the delicious menu options at the end of the tour. Also the pictures/video taken by Fernando were so awesome. This is another optional item to purchase that you should not miss out on. This tour was so much fun and educational. This tour group is passionate about the environment and the preservation of the Cenotes while providing you a fun and safe adventure. Definitely do not miss out on this one!

So much fun! Our favorite day. We almost booked a tour with a bigger company through our hotel and we’re so glad we went through these guys on AirBnb. Seriously - just book it. Everyone is a local and cares deeply for the cenotes. There are several guides, and they watch your things and bikes while you’re swimming. We had all the cenotes to ourselves. They give a lot of options for different comfort levels of swimming and diving for the group, and you get to see some amazing caves and tunnels. Lalo and Miguel were our guides and made the trip a blast. Lalo took amazing photos - definitely recommend you enjoy your time and purchase through him! Miguel has so many good stories and speaks fluent Mayan, English, and Spanish. The bikes were easy to ride, and we were never exhausted between stops. I rode the bike with flip flops, no problem. Lunch was huge and delicious. We got ceviche and tacos. They also gave us banana for breakfast and had fresh fruit after the second cenote to snack on. We made friends on the trip and loved the small group of 7 people. Highly recommend and would definitely go back! Give your money to these guys instead of a large company. They’re the best. Also they take credit card for tipping, buying photos, lunch, etc.

I’ve traveled all over the world, so I’m pretty hard to impress. On paper this was a bike ride and a couple of swims, in reality it was far more meaningful. Our guide Marvin is a local, born and raised in Chemuyil. He knew every inch of the jungle and cenotes. Marvin’s energy and outlook on life felt like talking to an old friend- we ended up having deep conversations on positive energy and living well between our swims. That connection mattered just as much as experiencing the energy of the cenotes. You’re not herded around. You ride simple bikes, stop at three very different cenotes and have locals watching your stuff while you swim. We felt welcomed all over town. Bejil‑Ha exists to protect its community’s cenotes and employ locals. By joining their tour you support that project. The day ends with a homemade meal cooked by women in the village- easily the best food we ate in Mexico. If you want a genuine, community‑run adventure with real connection, don’t miss this.

An Unforgettable Experience – Perfect Pace and Incredible Guides! I recently went on "the Water Path", and it was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, the experience was well-organized, enjoyable, and exceeded my expectations.

The pace of the excursion was perfect – we never felt rushed, yet we spent just the right amount of time at each location to fully appreciate and immerse ourselves in the experience.

Our guides, Miguel and David, were the heart of the trip. They were not only funny and fun but also incredibly knowledgeable. Their passion for the area and its history made the tour even more engaging and memorable.

What made this excursion truly special was how the company goes above and beyond. They not only give back to the community in impactful ways but also educate their guests on the importance of the cenotes and buying local. It felt great to support a company that cares so deeply about sustainability and the local economy.

I also appreciated the delicious local lunch, and the attention to safety.

I would highly recommend booking excursions through this company. It’s perfect for families, Mid-adventurers, or couples and offers a great mix of relaxation, adventure, and cultural insight.

Thank you to Miguel, David, and the entire team for such a wonderful day – we’ll cherish the memories for...
