Yesterday we went to search some cenotes, we use these locations to make photos underwater, as cenotes are underground rivers, we need to check them in order to see if the cenote is clear enough to get optimum results. We request a quick look to see the cenote, as It is 7 feet away, The guy in the entrance, very rude, illogical, superb, told us incoherence things like go and check other cenotes, cenote don't need advertising, and let us stand and turn away, he wanted us to pay for looking. we understand policies, but civilized and polite answers are enough, we tired to make a win-win benefit because cenotes charge a way higher price for photographers, It is not free, It was just business, but as I said civilized conversation is fair enough, We are not going to go to a place that treats...

Have you ever gone swimming in a cup of gold? Well this is what it’s like to swim at Cenote Car Wash. I felt like a was bleeding baptized after swimming around inside this beauty for an hour. Came out feeling like a million dollars!

We didn’t go diving, just snorkeling, however I spoke to one of the divers who said they were about an hour into diving through the caves and there was still more to go.

The place is beautiful, and has all necessary facilities, including toilets and showers. It’s $200 pesos admission plus $50 pesos to rent the goggles. I’d recommend going during the week when it’s less busy, we went at about 12pm on a Tuesday and it...

We went a couple of days ago and had a great time at the Cenote. We cycled the distance from Tulum town which was fine. When we arrived, there weren't too many people so there was plenty of space to swim and relax overlooking the water. There were plenty of small fish to see along with a number of turtles. We also saw the famous little crocodile however he spent most of the day sleeping out of peoples way. The centote was at it's best when there were only a few of us there towards the end of the day, as all the turtles came out of hiding to swim. The staff were nice and we ate a huge plate of nachos whilst we were...

One of my favorite dives. It has a lovely approach to it, with a large pond like opening in which you will generally find a lot of people swimming. Once you drop down, you go on a little adventure through a series of caverns that have some beautiful light shows and formations. Once you surface, if it is the early evening, you will be treated to a few families of turtles swimming on the surface, stay at the bottom and enjoy them above. About 1630 every one leaves and they feed the turtles, if you are very still you can be in the water with them. It is QUITE a treat! If you like my photos and review please leave me a thumbs up!
