Sea Shell City "Museo de Conchas" — Attraction in Sinaloa

This place is touristy garbage. Most shells were not even from the Sea of Cortez but Asia. You would think that a "Shell Museum" would have displayed the wonderful and rare shells of the region. Instead most of the store was cheap junk. What local shells they did have were small specimens that were over cleaned and in most cases even polished. Very disappointing. I really liked all the seashells at the store and ended up buying a number of them. They said my credit card was declined, so I paid in cash, which I didn't have the full amount so I had to put some shells back. Later, I found out that my credit card was charged for the full amount of shells that I initially wanted to buy. It ended up pending for 1 month and then finally never charged the card. Smallish, but a very nice museum and well worth walking up the stairway at the back of the shop to see. Try to guess how many sea shells went into the construction of the fountain.
