Tunel gruta tolantongo — Attraction in Tolantongo

Visiting this place was a fantastic adventure for me and my friends. The place mixes the best elements of a tourist resort and a nature destination, from camping sites to well established hotels, restaurants and facilities.

Some recommendations for the river and grotto: You cannot enter with food or drinks to the tunnel and grotto (where the water falls from a cavern). Hence, expect to pay for a locker or have someone wait outside. Cameras, towels, glasses and water shoes are allowed to go in. The water of the waterfall is super cold and the water from the grotto is super warm, so expect some contrasts there when going in. The inside of the grotto is very loud because of the water falling into the small pool that forms there, and the people. They also don't recommend staying for too long dur to possible (although unlikely) landslides. It's quite a walk with stairs from the parking lot to the site, so expect to do some exercise there. Totally fine for youth and adult people. Bring water shoes. Impresionante y caprichosa belleza que nos regala la naturaleza. Grutas de Tolantongo Muy recomendable para acampar, senderismo o simplemente relajarse. Cuenta con bastantes habitaciones de hotel, zonas de acampar estacionamiento y servicios de baños y regaderas. Muy limpio, espacioso. Una experiencia inolvidable algo que recordaras sin duda alguna, el agua que cae al entrar es fria pero una vez dentro se vuelve bastante caliente, la cascada es agua caliente y fuerte se muestra pesada pero muy buena, la cuevita que se encuentra ahi valla que es recomendable para entrar aunque es dificil y el ambiente es bastante caliente vale la pena entrar, no olvidaras esta experiencia, sin duda debes de ir y vivir esto, este lugar ofrece un lugar hermoso y vistas...
