Casablanca Corniche — Attraction in arrondissement d'Anfa مقاطعة أنفا

Pleasant view, looking kind of abandoned truth be told. Not the safest place considering how isolated it is, so that's a "during the day" activity in my book.

Do note that as you near the Hassan 2 mosque, you should get your nose ready for some of the worst stench. I'm assuming sewers spill right into the ocean because that stuff was pungent...

Oh and you might see people swimming there. If you value your health, please don't. I can only imagine how dirty...

A very nice place to have a morning or evening walk. Just beside the Hassan II Mosque, the view of the mosque from here is majestic. The Corniche itself is well-maintained, neat and clean. Walking here makes you feel fresh with the Ocean breeze hitting your face. There are some very good murals on the walls too. The crowd here is mainly the Fishermen or couples. Nice place to come for a walk and take in the fresh sea air. The Hassan II mosque further along the promenade is a striking site. I was here around 10.00am and noticed two policemen on motorcycles keeping an eye on things, a reassuring sight. People fishing along the lower path and several swimming in the area...
