An asfalt road was created recently that goes between the lake and the park and cuts through the patches "forest". This has invited more and more (electric)bikes and mopeds which , as you might imagine, isn't very relaxing for a park. Making it more accessible for these kinds of transportation also brings along another kind of visitors. Also dogs are allowed off leash which is not ideal with kids in a park with a kids playground. Besides the fact that they scare kids they also poop wherever and thus letting your kids play freely may come at a price. For me as a father, the added value of this park has diminished...
