This Water park is a hidden gem in Aruba. Use Google maps to get there. When you see the dirt road ahead of you, take a left at the white house, #33, take a right into a dirt road and another right to a dirt parking lot. When you enter the park you will hear the thunderous sound of extremely large diesel motors that I can only assume run the pumps for the water park. Once around the corner into the office to pay for the park wrist bands one can only smile after paying 15 Florins for children and 20 Florins for adults. After paying the very minimal charge, get ready for the best water slides on the island. You round the corner and take in the beautiful views of the island, island homes, and rock formations. If you look closely enough in the distance there is a 747 airplane that is just sitting there in the most unassuming place. I've heard at one point it was going to be a Restaurant, but I also heard they may have run out of money. Back to the water park, there is an area for younger children which includes four different water slides, and a water platform which you climb to get to the slides. To the right of that is five larger slides that are pure fun. My four and a half year old did every slide there. There is a full bar and food which was very good. We only ate chicken wings and fries with a couple of strawberry daquiris. We truly had a great time! I might add that we were probably the only visitors/tourists, everyone else were local Arubians. The bathroom facilities were extremely clean and free. Everyone was friendly and happy to have us there There are plenty of seating areas in the sun and under cover throughout the park. The bar area and food area is very large. I will say there are not allot of safety measures one would assume to have, meaning railings for the walk to the larger slides, but they're not necessary if you take your time and watch what...
Read moreThis is a great place to spend a day!!! We have 3 kids 7,9,& 12. Also we took 2 neighborhood kids our girls met. Entry price is very reasonable. We just paid entry and bought food/beer/soda separate. Food was tasty and a good value as well. About the park they have a fun turf playground area, plenty of cabanas/shade. A main pool with a waterfall that’s about 5’ deep. They have a large wading pool with a big play house structure with 6 water slides. The smallest 2 are for perfect for really little kids. The other 4 each a bit taller and longer than the next can be ridden by anyone. You can even take smaller children down with you. Then they have 5 taller water slides, 2 straight fast one & 2 winding one that empty together. Then a very long one that empties out to the main pool. All of them kept me as well as the kids entertained from open to close!!!! This is a must do(even over De Palm Island). Oscar and his staff were all...
Read moreGood price. I think the slides are great they're all a different experience. It feels really nice in between nature going down the slides gives a nice view of Aruba. There's often live music. You can also eat there. Its overall a really fun waterpark. Even got a nice pool to swim.
My complaint is that the slides weren't well regulated when I went. Groups of kids go together at once and I was hit and dragged under water because multiple people came behind me without waiting for me to go down properly. Kids go in groups and although there was someone standing up there trying to 'regulate' the slide they would say nothing. Honestly pretty dangerous.
Furthermore, they let more people in than they have chairs so since I went in a bit later in the day, I literally couldnt...
