Wow when you think of a local bakery you think of something small but this is actually a large Bakery with lots of a delicious treats! there's a lot of history here I am attaching a picture of what it used to look like and now it's very modern and bright. Actually many of the sweets and pastechi (similar to empanadas) found on the island are made here. They have cakes that are pre-made they have cakes that you can order, they have cinnamon rolls plain cinnamon rolls with raisins cinnamon rolls with raisins and coconut, they have cookies they have all types of breads, they have candies that are awesome we had a toasted coconut and sugar that was just delicious. They also have Tarts and you can buy pieces of cake. We were told they had the best Tres Leches ever so we tested it and I must say it was absolutely fabulous. we just bought one piece and although it sent in mail you still got to taste the sponginess of the cake it wasn't completely soaked and it was so perfect. try to come before noon and when you come in first thing take a number because there's usually a very long line. you don't have to buy a whole cake like I said you can buy a piece but if you're a Tres Leches fan ask for it first because it's the first that goes. They also have coffee cappuccino decaf and regular drinks from the cooler. in addition they have a tea room this is something that must be reserved but if you have a little one or if you're a group of women on a bachelorette party it's a nice place to just have a tea party. One of the local treats is something called Tamarind balls, they are popular with the locals so we tried a tray of many things and out of everything that was delicious and that was the one thing that I literally could not stand it was disgusting. That said one out of five of the people who tasted it really liked it. If you try it try it at your own risk. they also have free Wi-Fi and parking is rather plentiful you just have to get here at a time where you're not waiting in line are you will be driving around until a space opens up. most of the staff also speak English so that's nice and you can pay with American dollars they will just convert and give you change back in Arubian money. final thought is they do have ice cream and they also actually serve lunch meaning hamburgers cheeseburgers Etc I really suggest you come in and plan on staying a minute and get some...

Years ago they completely did not make my baptism desserts.
Then for my son's 3rd birthday did not do the cake in the color palette that I asked for.
Last year came to the store gave them an inspiration picture, with some modifications (asked for red fondant). Disappointed me with not following through with the modifications.
They simply said too bad, to try next year, via email, to avoid issues.
Low and behold, this years cake again not doing what I asked. Anywho, I used to vouch for bright bakery, due to locally owned, and fair prices. But I guess not anymore.
And even when telling them about their mistakes, they try to blame the customer.
If you have something important try someone else like Cesar's cakes, at least he does what...
Read moreThis place is one of the best local bakery and pastry in the area of Piedra Plat/Paradera. Here you can get every single day fresh made bread, snacks, sweet tooth snacks. Also a nice place to go eat delicious sandwiches, our locals snack favorite "pastechi" or "Croquet". It has free WI-FI for those who like to connect into the the cyber world. There is a "fast window" outside of the store. This is used mostly in the morning hours, it's like a "10 items or less" window for a quick buy and go. When you go here, as soon as you enter, don't forget to take a number on the left side, and wait for your number to...
