We kept seeing the mountain from a far and kept wondering what was there the whole time. We finally decided to drive there to check it out. When I first saw the many steps I thought I wasn’t going to make it to the top because I spent the day doing water sports. I got to the location at 5:25. Sunset was at 6:11 that day. So we rushed up the stairs and was getting sweaty and tired but kept going. There are many trees and cactus on the mountain which made it full of life and beautiful. Definitely be prepared with a water bottle and sunscreen. Take rests on the way up. The steps don’t feel bad at first and it’s easy to get started but after a while you’ll regret not pacing yourself and taking breaks. We took breaks to enjoy the scenery and watching the lizards that would run...
