We had a great time visiting Bonaire and staying at Kas Dolphine and Kas Wahoo for 2 months. Mark and Lilien are wonderful hosts. The space was exactly what we needed during this stay.
Both places had lounge chairs in the outside areas and access to the pool, which was nice considering the heat of Bonaire. Considering we both love to cook, the kitchens had all the utensils we needed to cook our meals.
We work online and needed WiFi and we had no issues with connectivity to upload videos to our YouTube channel or host LIVE video calls.
Overall, the place was comfortable and close enough to town. Know that the best grocery stores are about 5 km away, and the closest beach is 1 km away, and is not walkable to go to restaurants or attractions. We considered this a plus because we rented a scooter, which made getting around the entire island easy and fun.
Mark en Lilien also have a water taxi service called Caribe Watersport that takes passengers to Klein Bonaire Island, snorkel tours, sailing, and other water sport activities. This was a ton of fun!
Definitely a pleasure being able to stay here! Thanks for being such great hosts.

Read moreThe cool yellow Caribe Watersports boat is comfortable, clean and easy to exit/board. We got on the boat near the cruise ship port and after a quick stop to pick up guests at Eden Beach Resort were whisked away to Kleine Bonaire. The captain gave a good description of what to expect, and, was friendly and entertaining. Kleine Bonaire has no facilities, so take water or other bevs of your choosing. Tip: if you are into snorkeling, catch the first boat of the day. On this taxi they let you drop stuff you want to leave on Kleine Bonaire beach, return to the boat, take you “up current” of where your items are on the beach, and drop you in the water to snorkel. This allows you to drift with the current along the Kleine Bonaire reef until you get back to the beach where your items are. It’s awesome because it saves you a long walk up the beach or swimming to get up current. They may do this snorkel drop on taxis later in the day if it’s not busy, but check in advance. As always, don’t leave valuables on the beach, and most importantly...
Read moreDON'T USE WATER TAXI CALLED "CHEERS" (company is Land and Sea Tour and Water Activities) that goes to Klein Bonaire. We were sold a round-trip water taxi to Klein by a Mr. Omersi at a tent near the cruise ship pier and the water taxi NEVER CAME BACK FOR us at 5 pm AS PROMISED AND PAID FOR. Captain’s name was “Yeh”, an older black man with a young man also in the boat. Thankfully, the Caribe Water Taxi (yellow boat) made its last stop at 5:45 pm and GAVE US A FREE RIDE. Caribe Taxi said that they encounter this issue with "Cheers" and this company several times and that they are disreputable. If Caribe Taxi wouldn't have been making this stop, we would have missed our cruise ship departure and would have been stranded on an island with no amenities or services. CHEERS IS A RIP-OFF. They were reported to our cruise ship and the Port Authority. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES! Use Caribe Water Taxi, the yellow boat. They also sell drinks on board and are...
