The atmosphere was beautiful! Exactly how you’d want to enjoy dinner seaside. However, service did not match 😕… I came here for drinks and dinner. I was seated and immediately someone asked me if I wanted to place a drink order. To start, I said I’d get a water while I perused the drink and food menu. I received my water after about 5 minutes, and expected the waitress to come back and ask for my drink and dinner order. Well…. after 20 mins (and yes I checked the time), nobody came over. I was looking around trying to find somebody to no avail. So instead, I got up and went to the bar thinking maybe I needed to order there. I stood at the bar for about 5 minutes (yes, I checked the time again) while 3 bartenders and a waiter were in the area. Once again, I wasn’t sure if I was missing something because I felt invisible. And it seemed like the manager was there because I saw a tall men walking around turning on lamps at each table right behind me. But still… I might as well have not been standing there because no one checked to see if I needed anything or had been taken care of. Finally, I was able to capture the attention of a bartender and asked if I could order at the bar. Service was so slow, and I didn’t know if maybe it was just me who felt that way. However, while I was at the bar waiting, another man came up to the bar on the opposite side and asked if he was supposed to order at the bar because he also did not have a waiter or waitress come to his table to take drink orders. The bartender I asked was very quick to get me my drink, but I decided after the slow service, I would eat dinner elsewhere. It was unfortunate because they had a Thai curry shrimp pasta that I wanted to try but being that it took almost 30 mins to get a glass of wine, I decided to pass on eating there. I was actually dreading asking for the check because I didn’t know how long I’d need to wait for someone to give it to me.
I’d try this place again, but definitely was disappointed on...

We chose this upscale restaurant for our Christmas Eve dinner, expecting a memorable experience. Unfortunately, it was a letdown.
The set menu was beautifully presented, but the portions were disappointingly small. The appetizer's potatoes were undercooked, and the lobster tails were underwhelming and could have been cooked more thoroughly. The dessert experience was especially frustrating—we waited over an hour for it, only to receive strawberry jam instead of the promised fresh strawberries.
Service was a major disappointment. Our server lacked professionalism, communication skills, and basic courtesy. When I asked about the dessert for the third time, she promised to check but never returned. Another waiter finally brought the dessert, and I had to flag down a different waitress to request the bill. Shockingly, I was told to pay at the front counter, even though other tables were given their bills directly.
The entire experience lasted three hours, and we left hungry due to the small portions. At $75 per person, I expected far better food, service, and overall value. This evening was not the quality one would anticipate from a restaurant of...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience at Pier Dos. We came for a 5 pm reservation that we booked online. Upon arrival, the waitress told us that the kitchen changed their hours, so we couldn’t order food until 6 pm. They acted as though us expecting to order food for our reservation was them doing us a huge favor. After 45 minutes they served us an appetizer of scallops. The scallops were subpar and the worst part was they served it with undercooked potatoes!
We sat for another hour, still not receiving our main entree. Two hours of waiting, with the waitress was extremely patronizing to us, and when we asked for more water, she sarcastically asked us if we wanted to purchase a bottle, despite us telling her we were fine with tap.
Money seems to be the most important thing to this restaurant, the service was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced dining, and the food is nothing...
