February is not really the time to visit, as I should have known. Some of the parts of the garden are still nice to simply walk through but other parts were just too wet (or under construction). The Chinese garden was worth the visit but attention to detail needs to be paid. The café was open but not really worth it tbh and when I wanted to leave it some builder had managed to place scaffolding in front of the official exit... Right during lunch time... Had to leave via a staff exit. All in all I think it is a nice place to roam, just don't do it...
Read moreToo beautiful !! Especially the Chinese Garden is outstanding. Various species of plants have been planted here. Botany students must pay a visit here. Green ponds, artistic garden bridges, colourful plants and flowers which together has made this location perfect for photo session and one day picnic. Amazing cafe on the premises is a cherry on the top. I have seen many families coming here with their children and grandparents. The bus stop is just in front of this garden. Take utmost care of children as the green ponds...
Read moreI'm surprised people rate this garden so high. It's big, yes, but that's already all the good I can say about it. I found it uninspired, untidy with loads of weeds, unkept areas, and sadly, a lot of dead plants. There's hardly any signage on anything, and the whole place made me sad and feel like in some kind of 80s Soviet garden.
