Mosque Essalam — Attraction in Rotterdam

What a pleasant sight driving in Zuid Rotterdam. Had a chance to go inside and prayer. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The only issue is the timing of prayers. They have no fixed prayer times as compared to other mosques. The times are +10 mins after the start time of prayer for the first three and the next two are at the exact start time. Confusing??? Also I would like to add that I was disappointed to see the lack of maintenance and mess on the outside and overgrown grass. For such a beautiful building and forecourt, it's a shame to see it in such a state. This should be complimentary to the mosque...

House of Allah - women section available accessible by stairs and elevator, door on the side of the masjid but for my niqabi sisters; the entrances will come together so you will see men as well. Wudu area available on the same floor as the women section. Large prayer hall, good recitation of the imam. Maybe next khutbah about etiquette of Jummah prayer? Many sisters are not focusing on the khutbah due to talking / listening to voice memos/ praying?!?/ scrolling on IG while drinking redbull. Listen to the khutbah the way you pray dhuhr at home. مسجد "السلام" أكبر مسجد في هولندا وواحدا من أكبر المساجد في غرب أوروبا. تم تصميم هذا المسجد من قبل مهندس هولندي، والذي استخدم الهندسة المعمارية المملوكية في القاهرة كإلهام له في تصميم المسجد. يقع في مدينة روتردام جنوب هولندا وقد تم افتتاحه في نهاية العام 2010. المسجد الأصلي بني في عام 1987، لكنه سرعان ما تبين أنه صغير قياسا إلى نسبة المصلين، لذلك استغرق في بناء المسجد الجديد مدة سبع سنوات، من عام 2003 إلى عام 2010. إلى يومنا هذا يوجد في هولندا 500 مسجد تقريبا، لكن ليست جميع هذه المساجد مبنية على الطريقة الإسلامية المعتادة، الكثير منها كانت مدارس سابقة أو كنائس. من بين ال500 مسجد مئة مسجد على الطريقة الإسلامية مع مآذن عالية.
