It's cars cars cars. Never saw so many old-timer and custom cars in one place. There is one plane on display and a few motorcycles but that is just a side note. Currently (until September 4th) there is "F1 Legends" with 7 antique and original race cars from champs like Fangio. If you visit purely for this exhibition, you'll miss the true heart of the permanent exhibition. The museum is quite large and has multiple racing cars and their history on offer. If you really want to go to the nitty gritty, 3-4hrs quickly go by. Whatever your pace, you end up in a beautifully replicated Dutch market square with real shopping displays. You can buy typical Dutch 20th century candy (f.e. "real" liquorice), do this before leaving the square, it's the only place! Last but not least: the museum shop. The items for sale are quite pricey (70€ for a poloshirt) but it's the real thing and official team apparel, quality included. No Chinese knock-offs. It is wise to decide beforehand if you are willing to splash your cash because once in the shop it takes great resolve to walk away!

Unexpectedly different car, and related, museum meticulously presented in a bespoke building on manicured grounds. Perdect for the whole family. Easily accessible, spacious and unobtrusively staffed ready to help. We visited with an infant in a pram and a toddler and it was still enjoyable. There was even a quiet nook to feed the littlest one. The collection is amazing and ranges from artworks/games to statues and 300 years old coaches. Of course there are vehicles but they are the most eclectic and unique examples. Many are one of a kind or unrestored pieces of automotive history. From the 19th century to the 1960s (most from before 1940s). Cars I never knew existed present tastefully and given the room and background they deserve. I cannot think of a better way to spend a few hours. Certainly worth a second or third look. Insider tip: bring a car that is 40 years old or more and you can park in front of the entrance for free!

Such a brilliant experience going to this museum. Being able to see the transformation of cars over the past 100+ years is truly a fascinating thing to see. I really loved the type of cars that are on display and the uniqueness of being able to stand close and personal. What I do miss is a more engaging and interactive experience. There’s an opportunity to have a Spotify audio guide, but for a person like me that wants to be more immersed in reading, I wish there was more storytelling possibilities and educational alternatives. Also, it would be super cool if at least there was a mock-up version of one of the first cars to be able to sit inside and feel the experience, take pictures in it or so. Just missing that personal touch!

An incredible collection of vehicles. From the start of the automobile industry to fairly modern day, this museum has an incredibly well curated collection. I was hoping for some more modern vehicles as well but from the looks of things, the newest cars were probably still the 20th century, so this was a little bit of a shame. However, the vehicles are amazing and the building itself is beautiful as well. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and a big car fan. If you're not a massive car fan, it's still worth seeing but you might be slightly underwhelmed. There is Dutch and English text for the vehicles as well as I believe an audio tour as well. The museum ends with an absolutely wonderful cafe area as well.
