Strand90 — Attraction in Veere

We come to Domburg a couple times per year. I always thought Strand 90 was an expensive venue but we always rather enjoyed it.

This time however the bill shocked me quite a bit. I had some difficulties deciding what to eat and I ended up ordering shrimp croquettes from the starters for lunch. So did my husband and mother in law. The croquettes came with 3 little slices of bread for the 3 of us. We asked for a little more and were charged with an additional €3,-. Considering the 2 croquettes were already €15,- this is close to theft. I expected the toastie I ordered for the kids to be more substantial for almost €8,- too. This was just 2 thin slices of white bread with young cheese and a slice of ham.

All this considered the salmon sandwich was reasonable priced. Those some one calculate the pricing here? Because this feels rather random. Maybe the high season tourists that come to Domburg find this acceptable (although I think you shouldn't rip off tourists either) but we won't...

We have been at Strand 90 many times for years but unforuntely we are not happy with the service anymore....last visit we wanted to have a table for the whole family with 9 people and there was no support at all instead we felt like stressing the crew with our question....in general my suggestion: to train your staff to treat the customers like customers and try to make them happy....we felt very uncortable the last times and definitly not coming back...specially the team leader for the day was very...

Waren schon öfters am Strand essen. Leider dieses Jahr leider überall am Strand die Locations zum Essen leider enttäuschend. Hier hatten wir zwei Abend essen inkl Vorspeise bestellt gegen 1930h bestellt. Explizit gesagt, dass wir Vorspeise vorher haben wollen und auch bei dem Fischgericht mit "feinem Gemüse" gefragt wegen Allergie. Auch war der Tisch leider nicht sauber und noch mut irgendwelchen Haare verschmutzt. Leider kam die Vorspeise mit dem Hauptgericht zu spät und auch rel lang gewartet ca 45min obwohl wenig um die Uhrzeit los war... Kellner hatte dann auch schon um 2030h nach letzten Getränken gefragt um uns höflich rauszubitten. Der Fisch war leider qualitativ für den Preis nicht so gut und frisch. Auch das "feine Gemüse " ist sehr sehr gering ausgefallen, nur paar Hobel vom Gemüse. Dafür Pommes. Aber für den Preis viel zu wenig. Falscher und zu teuer Wein wurde auch " irrtümlich" abgerechnet. Gut das wir den Beleg gecheckt haben. Dann war schon "Feierabend" kurz vor 2045h und wir hatten unsere Picknickdecke vergessen, sie lag woanders als wir sie liegen gelassen hatten. Und wir waren einer der letzten Gäste. Leider keine Info/Service vom Personal. Wir haben die Decke selbst geholt und zum Glück dran gedacht.
