The checkout operators are very good, the supervisors are very competent and generally the store is clean. However, the pricing and labelling of items is perhaps the worst I've ever seen in a supermarket. The number of items with no price on the shelf is staggering. Labels continually saying items are out of stock when clearly there is stock. It is totally unacceptable in a modern supermarket.
The senior management needs to seriously look into the issues raised. There is a lot of talk amongst the local community about these issues, so I'm not the only one. It's a pity that the store let's itself down in such a basic way, because the young employees need to see leadership from the seniors. It doesn't appear to be happening right now.
I'm not trying to pull anyone down here, especially not the young checkout operators and their supervisors. They are incredibly helpful and friendly. However it is time to get the store organised in a professional manner rather than the confused state it is...
Read moreThe staff member overseeing the self-service checkouts this evening left much to be desired. Their conduct was utterly devoid of basic customer service etiquette or even the most rudimentary courtesy. A most disagreeable encounter, to say the least.

I offered a gracious “thank you very much,” only to be met with complete silence—no response, no acknowledgement, nothing. Such behaviour speaks volumes.
I would urge this individual to reflect upon the value of good manners, the importance of respect, and the virtue of conducting oneself in a civilised manner, especially when representing a business in a...
Read moreI went to buy some lollies from the store, they have these containers for the lollies and I thought it’s a good idea as that looks better than a bag to give them away to a kid. At the checkout I have been told those containers cost $7.5 each, they didn’t put a sign there anywhere and I can’t return the container as I have put the lollies in them already. Still paid for them but really unhappy about the service, the young guy at check out were not polite as well ( he went to check the lollies area like he suspected I was lying when I told them I filled the empty container myself as I didn’t know the price is per box). $7.5 is not much but it is more the way he treated his client especially New World is established itself for good service that different from...
