Banks Penninsula A and P Show is held in Little River Domain each summer. The domain is on the edge of the small settlement, next to the school, on the road to Akaroa. The A and P Show is small but mighty. A great day out for locals and worth the time travelling for those in Christchurch.

Was there for the Little River Giant pumpkin festival 18 April 2021. It was so nice and enjoyable. Live Band was there and running races and LRS Students perfom Kapa Haka and lots of food and hand crafted stuff. Very recommend for parents with children. It was a lots of fun for kids.

Mural on the tennis courts which has been an amazing collaboration of art ideas and processes with the Little River Primary School tamariki!

Stopped here for lunch. Fields being used by the local school but the old Coronation building still not repaired. A real shame as the War Memorial gates are mostly in pristine condition. Not the locals fault as funds may be scarce just now. Brilliantly sunny day and not many around. Nice relaxing space to stop and surprisingly unlike the Lake Forsyth stop further toward Christchurch - no...
