Cowles Stadium — Attraction in Christchurch

Having been to Tumble Times many times at Pioneer, we were expecting the sessions here to be much the same. It is a lot smaller than the Pioneer one and is only on once a week. There weren't very many people there which I guess is why the set up is so small and just once a week compared to Pioneer which is probably filled with more than half the court of equipment and from memory is everyday, sometimes twice daily. Staff were friendly though just a shame about the lack of people that turn up and equipment/activities out...

Atmosphere for the Rams games is awesome. The seating is definitely one of the downsides (can be a struggle to find your seating if not familiar to the stadium, plenty of crew to ask though.) but hey it’s only a couple of hours. The food shop sells the normal hot chips and snacks etc beer and wine options too. There is also Rams merchandise for sale including seat cushions Get there early for parking as games sell out and can be difficult get parks...

Love that the have community sessions here and it's the best set up for tumble times in chch. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Great parking. Only problem is that it's cold in winter. Way too cold to be barefoot which makes some of the activities with toddlers a bit dangerous. Would be great if heating...
