Such an amazing view of the hills and beach from this viewpoint! It’s a “must see” and “must do” when you are in the area north of Auckland. It is inside Shakespear Park and located along the roadside where parking is available. The park entrance is free. Take a few minutes to enjoy the view and get some great photos! (If you want someone to take pictures of you and your family or friends in the frame, just stop and wait there. Other park visitors are friendly and will take your photos. We were standing alone there and a “local” was nice enough to stop their car, and get out to take a photo for us!)

You can’t miss this giant frame on the way to Shakespeare Park, it perfectly captures one of the best views of the Hauraki Gulf! A great stop for a photo, and they even have a stand for your phone or camera to get the perfect shot.

Beautiful view. Great opportunity to take family photo here. Make sure bring tripods, camera and a remote for taking family photos. The frame is a bit high. Kids need assistance to climb up

Cannot be missed !

The Giant Frame at Shakespeare Beach is an impressive and unique landmark that offers stunning views of the surrounding coastline and landscape. Located in the beautiful Shakespeare Regional Park, this large frame creates a perfect photo opportunity, allowing visitors to capture the breathtaking scenery through its wide "window."

The beach itself is peaceful, with calm waters, and it’s a lovely spot to enjoy a leisurely walk or simply relax by the shore. The Giant Frame serves as a wonderful focal point for the park, offering a fun and artistic way to take in the beauty of the area.

It’s an excellent stop for photography lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. Whether you’re hiking, enjoying a beach day, or just exploring the park, the Giant Frame at Shakespeare Beach adds a unique touch to the experience. Highly...

The giant frame is a scenic location in Shakespear Regional Park having a large photo frame installed by the Auckland Council, as they have done in all the regional parks in the Auckland region. The pictures clicked here are exceptionally good due to the scenic surroundings. One can get great pictures clicked here even on a bad weather day. There are a few parking spaces which are almost full every time. The only downside it is visitors just stop in the middle of the road when the parking is full, disrupting the incoming traffic and causing hazards. Highly recommended...
