New World Ormiston — Attraction in Howick

It’s terrible service in New World Ormiston, 15:10-15:30 28/01/2022 when I bring 4 bottles of sunflower oil the cashier （self service cashier)told me two bottles per family and take 2 bottles away so I paid two bottles money after that I asked that cashier if we can together check there was a sign that said “two bottles per a family “ but when we just walked a few steps and I turn around the employee was gone ,I still check but there was no sign ( I talked photos and videos)so I went back to ask the employee again but she hid from me .I saw her working at another cashier desk and she and another employee were whispering about me in a bad way.I was boiling mad so I went to the oil place again double check and ask another two employee of new world Ormiston if it was true that it was two bottles per a family .The employee told me that the oil with white paper (normal price labels)is not limited and the one with yellow paper is limited but we bought the one which is not limited .Which is the normal one with white label so I ask the workers to help me to find the manager and one of them took me to find the manager but when I found the manager talking to the cashier , when the cashier saw us she quickly left so I ask the manager is it true that two bottles per a family the manager told me it was because of the lockdown for policy I said ok but the problem is that you have no sign that said “two bottles per family “ then the manager threat me to go away or he will call security I said I will go but I will compliant about you customer service and I will never come back to this shop again .

I love the store and the food but EVERYTIME I go in, they watch me like a hawk like I'm stealing. I probably have more than they'll ever have and I'm just offended that they ALWAYS watch me all the time and act weird with me and then seem surprised when I'm able to pay for everything. Why is it just me they watch? Because I'm young and maybe look a bit brown or Maori or something. I'm fully English as well. It's so offensive, watch people who are ACTUALLY stealing and stop watching rich, nice people who just want to buy all their things and leave. I don't get it, I don't get this anywhere else apart from one other supermarket and here? Like they act nice to me but please, I'm not stealing hahah, stop standing close to me and saying watch this or that, stop only watching me and keeping an eye on me. Very weird! Anyway, have a good day. Maybe they assume everyone young and tanned looking is stealing or something. Very strange. Let me shop in peace. People who act shady are usually stealing, pretty sure I'm not acting shady? And if I come everytime and pay for everything, how am I stealing or causing trouble or anything? The judginess is weird. Maybe become more aware of people and how they are and stop assuming all sorts of things about everyone and everything. Don't want to be offensive but everytime I'm there it happens? Makes me...

I would give a zero star to the shop due to some very bad customer service experience.I have been going there since it opened and i regularly buy cat food from there wether its on special or not.i bought 20 pouches of cat food as it was 10 for $10.When i came to self checkout one of the asian girl standing and looking at me as if I won’t scan all of them.after scanning all 20 another asian lady comes and tells me i can only buy 10 Pouches as theres a store limit which wasn’t advertised where i got them from and she is showing me the sign infront of one of the checkout which hardly anyone is there to serve and it just says we have store limits.i have 3 cats why would i waste my time coming to new world and getting only 10 pouches.thats ridiculous.if u have store limits then while we are scanning it should tell us after scanning 11 pouches that limit exceeded.very rude ladies there.and after pissing me off she has a smile on her face.Ridiculous.she either should change her attitude or change her job.she doesn’t look fit enough to do customer service.aweful.and she said shes the manager of the store.so sort her...
