Went there and ordered. Got the receipt and then realized that the prices advertised are lower than what I was charged. When I brought it up the staff was argumentative saying that the prices changed 2 months ago and that all his regular customers know. I was a new customer so how am I supposed to know. He made a snarky remark about how he can return the $3 if ifs important to me. That's not the poi nt. If the prices changed 2 months ago then get your act together and update the display. I have logged the conversation and will report to the commerce commission. Have photos of the advertised menu and the receipt. Nice place. Lots of potential but still finding its feet.

Starting with the good stuff. Food is tasty (not the best but as the only afghan place in SouthEast Auckland, it's good for day to day), portions are good, staff are very friendly, typical Afghan hospitality, big smiles, genuine kindness.

In saying that, its a new place and it's obvious. Some small mistakes in the order, and the kitchen staff were running around looking lost as soon as it got a little busy. Menu not properly showing on Google and with very few photos.

Biggest disappointing thing for me was the lack of identity. Guys, you're an afghan restaurant, get rid of the burgers, satay chicken stuff and anything that isn't traditional afghan. Afghan food is amazing and has enough variety that you don't need to do the...

My order was simple (Lamb on rice), all salads and 3 sauces
