Dannevirke Domain — Attraction in Manawatū-Whanganui

Had an amazing bbq in the park. Facilities were clean and in good working order. The were heaps of happy families spending time on the play equipment. Plenty of room to be separate and, yet in the same space together. Lovely, big trees for shade. Gardens are well kept. Play equipment well maintained. Cool viking themed playground just off State Highway Two in Dannevirke. Ideal for a break for the kids to have a play and stretch their legs. There is a free gas barbeque for public use and picnic tables. There are a couple of toilets too. Wander the rose gardens as well as over to the war memorial and water fountain. A good place...
