We have visited twice for helping the kid practice bike ride. It's a beautiful and peaceful park. Sufficient parking, good walking track, multiple seating options, clean toilets and small area of swings. May be adding a bit more play options for the kids could make it more entertaining. Considerations for four star when comparing it with Hamilton garden with lake view, and others in Auckland with amazing views and multiple play options.

Love this park! Lotsa trails that meander and undulates with streams, bridges and staircases that break up the monotony to select from depending on your capability and endurance, kids playgrounds are lovely and fun! Yes, even for adults. Haha. Lovely cafe and public swimming pool. Definitely a must go. Just remember to clean up as you go and leave no trace of whatever you ate or drank.

Love this place!!! Beautiful parkland, great walking tracks, plenty of space and seating. Love the pools, highly recommend for a good free day out or even just a good (fairly hard) hill walk for some exercise. It's a regular hang out spot...
