Rebel Sport Panmure (Rebel X) — Attraction in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

Extremely disappointed with trying to call through to this store today. We have been locals for over 45 years in Mt Wgtn but sadly this has never happened. We are regular shoppers and supporters of this particular store with 4 athletic grown adult children we wanted to check website quantities before heading in or before doing click and collect, unfortunately the call proceeds and then someone picks up and then just hangs up. If you’re busy then be polite about it, regardless of loyalty this day and age good ole customer care is a thing of the past. Happy to pay extra if the service is consistent. Please Rebel Panmure store get your phone line checked or just answer the phone and ask customers to call back later if you’re understaffed. My experience was tainted somewhat while looking for a pair of running shoes. The girl who was stacking the shelves could see I was having trouble with the sizings she did nothing until I asked for assistance whereupon she took two boxes of shoes from the shelf and said, 'maybe these will fit.' She then went back to her stacking. I eventually found a pair of Mizuno running shoes that fitted (eventually). Customer service 1/10. Then I went to check out where the lovely lady said, 'did you know its our sale tomorrow?' Well I didn't but she gave me the sale price. I got $21.00 off. Customer service 10/10. Came in on Sunday afternoon after work. Place is utter shambles. Things chucked here and there no staff to help. There were less than a dozen customers in store. I could feel the shop assistant was getting flustered with my query about a particular New Balance shoes. In the end I gave up and left, not before noticing a few others had also left after waiting. These store needs some serious investment in staff training including product types, purpose and looking up products online to confirm stock etc. It is not as if Rebel Sports prices are really affordable anymore.
