I was lucky enough to have Raj do my wedding hair and makeup yesterday, and she is a hero and a SAINT. If you’re preparing for your big day, I cannot sing her praises loudly enough! From the start of her service right until the very end, she was professional, incredibly skilled, and a delight to chat to — she made the morning wedding prep a lovely start to the day 😊

I had a very particular idea of what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like. She asked me very thoughtful questions about the length and nature of the event, the colours of my dress, how my skin and hair tend to be — and then she synthesised all that information and created a look that floored me. I have never had my hair and makeup done so beautifully. I have never felt so confident in the way that I looked — and how lucky I was, to feel that on my wedding day!

My makeup look stayed exactly in its place from midday to midnight, and she tamed my frizzy curls into the most elegant style, which didn’t budge once — despite the busy day, despite the fact that we were sweating in the sunshine, despite the fact that I spent the day running around. You can just tell, as she works her magic, that she loves her work deeply, and that she’s super at what she does.

I was also lucky enough to chat with her while she did my hair and makeup. She was just so lovely! Importantly, she put me at ease despite my nerves about the big day, and I could not have asked for a lovelier start to the morning 😊

All of which is to say — for the biggest day, you could not ask for better than Raj! Thank you...

I used their service with Jerose, did not like her work had to comment a few times on my younger daughters make up. Hair was average not worth what I paid for tho only sprayed hair spray once to stabilise hair after 2 hours hair was fluffy and didn’t stay in place will never use her services do not recommend is not very good at doing makeup either.

In response to the owner, she asked my daughter if she liked it and if it was ok. My daughter said she didn’t want to be rude, so she said it was ok she’s 16 and she was trying to be polite. My sister who was also present did not like the make up I told Jerose to blend it under the eyes and she said my daughter liked it which she then told me she was just being polite it didn’t look nice at all. After Jerose did my daughters make up she asked how I like it and I said there’s something off?? Then Jerose said oh sorry I made a mistake with her eyeliner and wiped off some of the eyeliner as her hand went abit too heavy on the eyeliner, I even told Jerose to blend the silver eye shadow she also went too heavy with it too. We offered her food because we are polite and it’s part of our culture to offer food whether we get a good or bad service. Over all I would never use her service again.

As for Minny she was amazing we all loved her services, she did everything spot on no complaints I would definitely use her again in the future and highly recommend her services. It’s a shame the same service was not received previously by Jerose. If I could put in 2 reviews Minny would get a 5 star...

Great experience with Naeema at The Beauty Hub for my wedding (and trial/s). I don't normally wear a lot of makeup, and Naeema was fantastic interpreting my vague direction/requests and photos into something that would work for me. Nailed the hair on the first go (kept it quite simple and she did a great job not making me look/feel overdone)! While I loved my trial makeup, it was winter time when I had my trial (and my wedding was summer), so I decided ultimately I wanted something a bit lighter and brighter. I booked in another trial and loved that look too - and was closer to what I wanted for the season. When it came to the wedding, she was on time (early!), brought everything she needed, and my bridesmaid, maid of honour, and myself, had a lot of fun with her while getting ready. She was even a great sport working with our photographer to get some fun shots while we were getting ready. The girls and I all loved our looks (to quote one bridesmaid - "Is that MY hair?!?" - she was shocked at it being so smooth and shiny). Thanks for a great experience!
