Greens Motel — Hotel in Nelson

We were pleased that Greens could accommodate us for 3 nights over the weekend in Nelson at short notice for a family funeral. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. Very comfortable and quiet. Only drawback was the dazzling lighting in the walkway outside - it shone through the (uncovered) bathroom window and gaps in the blinds to make the room like daylight. This meant we didn't sleep at all well! Sensor lighting and more thoughtful directional lighting would be better. We did mention to the gentleman at reception when we left, but he didn't appear interested...

We enjoyed our night in a comfortable, well appointed studio room, handily equipped for self-catering. The model is located in a quiet part of town within walking distance of the airport, but not especially close to restaurants etc. Check in was smooth and friendly, and we greatly appreciated the offer of a lift to the airport, saving us some time and effort with our bags. Jill I found is not very good at helping, seems to have very little patience and not very organised considering it is a motel when I contacted the motel number she was in wellington and was very angry that I called as it was her sons 40 birthday, I'm sorry but I was not made aware of this and if she doesent want to be called then why is the landline going to her mobile, shouldnt it go the staff member on duty if the managers...
