Frimley Park — Attraction in North Island

Frimley Park in Hastings is an 'Old English' style reserve noted for its many beautiful and rare trees and more than 5500 roses set out in formal gardens.

The park is stunning with all of its established trees, especially in autumn with all its colours. It is a mix of park and sports grounds which is a great balance. I would like to see the playground improved/ enhanced as a lot of families use it and it's lovely to see. It is definitely a lovely and tranquil place to walk and wonder through. I can't wait to see the development once the water project...

Large fielded areas to have a picnic or throw a ball around. There is a playground on site which is of average size. There are a few depressed and elevated gardens. The rose gardens are still there however in early spring the roses are not out as expeted. Little walking track that takes you around as well as toilets...
